Clemantine & Andreas
Clementine and Andy came and met with me a couple months before their wedding. The colour of the girl’s bridesmaid’s dresses was called Fern from David’s Bridal. At the time they came I just happened to have a David’s Bridal Catalogue in my office so I quickly pulled it out so that we could match the paper colour as close as possible. The colour Fern is a green colour that has a lot of brown in it but has less yellow than an olive colour. The only trouble was that the only paper that I had that was of a very similar colour also had a slight snake skin or crocodile skin texture to it. Clementine was a little uneasy (well very uneasy) about the texture of the paper although the colour was perfect. We tried many other different paper combinations but none of them were quite “perfect”. Andy kept going back to the textured paper and Clementine eventually gave in! I assured her that I would do up a sample and if the texture was too much we would look at some other options. I also assured her that the texture really would not be that apparent next to the beautiful pattern they choose. Once I had their sample was complete I immediately called Clementine to come in and see it. I thought it had turned out absolutely beautiful and I was very interested in seeing what both Clementine and Andy thought. Their reaction was perfect and they absolutely loved it. I was so glad that they took the risk and went with the textured paper because the colour was perfect and combined with the beautiful gold pattern the invitation was incredibly elegant. Congratulations Clementine and Andy. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day! I wish you all the best in your new beautiful home! |
