For their wedding Christy wanted an invitation that was beautiful, yet simple and not to expensive (as with most brides!). Her colours were a beautiful deep brown and an olive green colour. For her design we came up with a beautiful portable pocket where the actual invitation came out higher than the pocket to show off their names. Along the front we added a quote which Christy really liked and accented it with a double layer of ribbon. Once I did the first design I realized that the cards were getting lost in the bottom of the pocket so I added a ribbon along the back of the invitation for the cards to sit in so that once the invitation was pulled out of the pocket the cards came out too. I also added in a smaller piece of ribbon at the top of the invite to make it easier to pull the invitation out. We finished off the invitation with matching envelopes in the same cream as the invite and a olive green.

This style of invite was a first for me and has turned out to be a very popular style. It is something unique and different which is something that brides are always looking for!
