Emily contacted me after Erin from Brierwood Country Club recommended me. When Emily called me I was completely shocked when she told me the date of her wedding, which was to be held in less than two months. Emily and John decided to get married a little quicker than they were originally planning when John’s brother found out he was being sent to Afghanistan. I told Emily that I could do her invites but only if we met right away. Since Emily and John were getting married a lot quicker than they originally planned they really did not have a colour scheme. Emily’s girls were going to wear black and they were unsure of any other accents. We had a hard time deciding on design, especially because Emily and John did not seem to like the same patterns! Then Emily casually mentioned that she has always loved polka-dots! That was it… I took that and ran with it! We decided on a black and white with slight purple accents and polka-dots. Emily and John really had to put their trust in me though as there was no time for them to see a sample. In less than one week after our first meeting I handed over their completed invitations, and I must admit I was nervous to see what they would think… but they love them.
We did all their other stationary up to match and carried the polka-dots through everything. Their waterfall style cards with the different colours were a first for me and they have been extremely popular.
Emily and John were great to work with and they were able to plan an incredible wedding in less than two months. Thanks for putting your trust completely in me as the finished product turned out wonderful!
