Jamie & Dave
Jamie and Dave’s wedding invites hold a special place in my heart because Dave is one of my younger brothers. I was a little nervous about doing invites for my brother wedding but once I formally met with Jamie and Dave all my nerves were put aside. Jamie was one of the most laid back brides I ever met and was not picky about what she wanted. All she knew was that she did not want it to be a golf theme despite Dave’s begging. The colours of their wedding were red/burgundy, black and white. Jamie picked out a small pocket invite and she really liked the kaleidoscope pattern. She also really likes the idea of having some rhinestones added to their invite. I went to work and designed their invite but it needed something more so we decided to add the pattern to all the cards. I love the way they turned out and so did they! Jamie and Dave had went to a friend’s wedding who had name tags at each person’s place and Dave and Jamie both really liked this so we did name tags that matched their invite, including the pattern that Jamie liked. Their seating chart is the real show stopper. As soon as I saw their beautiful engagement pictures I knew we had to incorporate them into the wedding. One night when I was unable to sleep I decided to do their seating chart with the picture in the background. When I asked Dave about it he gave me the go ahead to do what I wanted and it turned out incredible. The design of their seating chart is one of my best sellers and I am always getting requests to do something similar for other couples. It is an incredible way to showcase your engagement pictures since it is such a large size, and yet it is still functional! |
