Julie received one of Melissa’s invitations in the mail and loved them so she asked Melissa for my contact information. The only problem was that Julie lived in Detroit, Michigan so she was not able to come for an appointment so we did all of her design over email and phone. After talking to Julie I had an idea of what she wanted so I did up a couple of designs and mailed them to her. The design that she picked was a 5 by 5 folded card and we used a ribbon to wrap around the front to hold in all the cards. Julie’s classic colours of black and ivory were very easy to work with and made the invitation very elegant. We added a matte to the reply and reception card to add a little more colour into the invitation.

I also did up a seating chart for Julie. She was having a small wedding without a lot of tables which allowed me to add multiple mattes to the table cards to give it a little extra detail. We also did up beautiful 5 by 5 thank you cards with just a large monogram “E” on the front.

All Julie’s stationary turned out beautiful and I was so happy when she came to pick it all up to hear how much she loved it. It always makes me nervous to see a client’s reaction, especially when I have never met them but Julie’s reaction was perfect. Congratulations Julie and Steve!
