Lindsey & Jeff
Lindsay had a very distinct idea as to the style she wanted for her invitations. She knew she for sure wanted a 5 by 5 pocket because they wanted to include a video invitation in their invitation on a DVD. Lindsay and Jeff’s colours were in the beautiful fall colours of brown, red and tan and we integrated all the colours into their invitation without using any white at all. This gave the invitation a lot of impact. Lindsay knew that she wanted some type of graphic on the invite and knew she wanted it to be some type of a flower although she was not 100% sure what kind. We went through tones of different graphics before she brought me a picture of another invite that had a cheery blossom on it. That set the stage for everything and I quickly designed a cherry blossom to wrap up the side of the invitation to mock the layout of the font on the invite. We took the colours and cherry blossom graphic and integrated it into the programs (which are one of my most popular designs), her table numbers, favour tags, and menu cards. Lindsay and Jeff are a great couple. They had a lot of great ideas which made my job easy!! I got the chance to see the DVD that they sent in their invite and let me tell you it was priceless and it was very much them. Their wedding was full of personal little things that really made it unique (ie. Having the bridesmaids wear red shoes!!!!). You guys are awesome and I really wish you well. |
