Rasha and Ali’s stationary was so much fun for me to do because it was such a learning experience! Rasha and Ali were having a very very large Arab wedding which meant that I was able to learn about a lot of the Arab traditions. Ali and Rasha knew they wanted just a simple flat invitation since they needed so many of them and they really liked the 5 by 5 size. Ali really wanted a hologram on the invitation, but Rasha was quick to veto that! After doing up several designs Ali and Rasha decided on the square 3 layer invite with ribbon detail in 2 of the corners.
We took the same design from the invite and incorporated it into the seating chart and table numbers. To date Rasha and Ali’s seating chart is the largest one I have done. Do to the fact that it was so difficult to place so many people at all the different tables I actually finished proofing and printing their seating chart the day before their wedding at around 3 in the morning! It was definitely worth it in the long run as it turned out beautiful. Usually to do up table numbers it only takes me a couple of hours in the afternoon, but for Rasha and Ali’s it actually took me longer to do them than it does to do a lot of people wedding invitations just because there were so many!
Rasha and Ali’s wedding was incredible! Congratulations!
